And so it goes again

So I hit 200 lbs, way to much for my 5'3" frame. Time to really do something about this. I know I've said it before but this is too much. I need to be healthy and I really would like to be able to shop for clothes. So instead of doing something radical I think the first thing to do is understand what it is I actually do eat. I've heard time and time again to write down your food but that is a hassle and I've never managed to keep it up. So I was reading the 4 hour body book and they mentioned taking pictures with your camera phone. Seems so much easier. So let's give it a try. 5 days in a row is my goal. Let's see if I can take and post my pic's for 5 days and see what it truly looks like. Then from there we'll see where we go.


So here we go... Breakfast this morning (although I think I'm also going to have some yogurt and an orange) I guess I'll have to take a picture of that too.

Tickets!!

My brother bought me my tickets... woo hoo, so excited about that fact. So I fly into Paris and out of Venice. And yes Milan in there in the middle. No idea what I'm going to do or what the plan is but I have tickets!!! I have ticketss!!

On another note, Emily got a gold medal in her ballet today!! Yipee, it was pretty cool. Post pictures later :)

Testing this out

Just signed up for Picasa and testing out the Blog this feature. Pretty cool if I do say so myself. I'm sure millions of peole have figured this out before but this is new to me and I'm pretty happy about it.

Still hovering around 200 so not down the numbers I wanted. And Emily made a comment about my big tummy again today. I need to get this under control!

1/2 Cup Risotto with Peas

Milan

Okay so I'm going to Milan. Not high on my list of places to see in Europe but hey, I'm not going to say no if someone else is taking me there and I've never set foot on the Continent before. I think I'll survive. I've been looking around the web for places to go and things to see in Milan. Not much from what I understand but I want to check this place out. That looks like an amazing bit of food. I can't quite imagine a donut/calzone combination but I'm certainly going to try it.

I'm sure I'll find a million things to see and do in Milan but my number one is going to be trying the food.

The Day After

Waking up and still feeling sick. Now a cough in my lungs, hurts.

Was forgetting to eat breakfast but then I went to the blog "
The Amazing Adventures of Diet Girl" and started reading the top 20 tips and breakfast was right up there. So I went to make breakfast.

So she also starts out with the "big picture" and figuring out where you want to be and what your end game looks like. So what do I want to change? Where do I want to be one year from now?

Well I want to change my weight and how I look and feel in clothes. I want to have more energy and be better able to play with the kids. So the Numbers - By 'October 1 2010' I would like to weigh no more than 145 lbs. I would like to lose about 55lbs in 50 weeks. Looking for 1 lb a week, hopefully not more than I can do.

Keeping it going


Breakfast:

Tea with 2 tbsp skim milk, 2 tsp sugar
Ribena 2 tbsp in large glass of water
2 pieces flax toast with butter
2 poached eggs


Lunch:

Small Bun with 3 pieces of Salamai and Havarti, mustard and may0
1 cup grapes

Snacks:

Original Bumble Bar
Yogurt with Brown Sugar

Dinner:
1 1/2 Tacos with Hamburger, cheese, guacamole, sour cream and peppers
2 chocoloate cloude cookies
1 glass of milk
2 small glasses of wine
